Job Description
We are looking for a charismatic Sales Manager in community living who will be responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community by attracting qualified prospects and converting those prospects into residents. This position serves as the primary lead for generating local interest in a community through its creative marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for fostering the sales culture at a community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for nurturing qualified leads through entire sales process from inquiry to move-in.
- Responsible for community outreach with primary goal of generating qualified referrals.
- Regularly meets goals, including but not limited to: move-ins, inquiries, tours, phone calls, outreach, and events.
- Responds to inquiries, scheduled visits, conducts tours and closes sales per sales and marketing goals.
- Conducts daily and weekly review of closing strategies for prospects.
- Ensures Sales Force is being utilized for all customer interactions, data entry, and sales activities.
- Provides Sales Team with new resident and family contact information to assist in the move-in process, including all required paperwork, unit readiness and resident requests.
- Participates in scheduled sales calls.
- Works collaboratively with community leaders and other department heads to create a positive hospitality-oriented atmosphere for all associates and residents.
- Gives exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, from providing a pleasant greeting to maintaining professionalism and composure in more challenging situations.
- Effectively communicates with residents, families, professionals, visitors, and associates.
- Recognizes and fosters a sales-oriented culture by participating in and contributing toward the sales and marketing efforts of the community, including assisting at events when needed.
- Works with community leaders to effectively train, coach, reward, and discipline direct reports.
- Completes all departmental-related reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales.
- Attends and actively contributes relevant departmental information at daily meetings.
- Attends and actively participates in company-hosted webinars, on-site meetings, regional meetings and national meetings as scheduled.
- Completes in a timely manner all required trainings to maintain appropriate certifications and credentials for position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Three years’ sales/marketing experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication, customer service and public relations skills.
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging and team-oriented personality.
- Desire to serve older adults.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to achieving goals.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related and customer tracking software.
- College degree preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
