Job Description
TrueNorth is seeking a talented Sales Marketing Specialist to join our Transportation Marketing team. Your primary role will be to create compelling content for digital marketing and communication materials, enhancing brand awareness and driving lead generation. You will develop and execute impactful campaigns, craft engaging blogs, and expand TrueNorth's digital presence. Converting website traffic into valuable leads and utilizing email marketing for cross-selling opportunities will be key responsibilities. You will nurture leads throughout their customer journey, providing invaluable marketing support from initial contact to successful closing. Collaborating closely with your Marketing Lead, the Transportation division, business segments, and production teams, you will create effective marketing campaigns that yield results. You'll have the chance to contribute to automating client journeys and streamlining marketing operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, coordinate, and schedule consistent marketing campaign content to attract, engage, and convert target personas.
Write and create various types of optimized content (blogs, whitepapers, infographics, videos, case studies, etc.) to drive site traffic through search, social media, and email.
Manage TrueNorth's content calendar for Transportation and grow subscriber base.
Execute touch programs and campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams, using project marketing & management tools.
Collaborate with sales and technology liaisons to develop email automation processes.
Convert website traffic into leads through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.
Provide marketing support for PR campaigns, including press releases, social media, webinars, and events.
Analyze and report on content performance, optimize processes, and measure ROI.
Develop processes, forms, and templates for consistent sales and transportation content strategies.
Create effective messaging and materials for sales process and client experience.
Design and produce marketing materials and sales tools for proposals, presentations, promotions, and web content.
Maintain consistent divisional branding and manage content of marketing materials.
Implement process enhancements, stay updated on trends, and recommend improvements to sales and marketing systems.
Leverage CRM data to understand sales opportunities and develop execution plans.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years’ experience in marketing, sales, or business development role required
Experience with marketing platforms and proficiency in the Dynamics or Salesforce marketing automation tool is a plus.
Aptitude to learn Marketing Automation Software, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software, and other marketing and presentation software as needed
Experience in working across Sales and Operations teams to ensure a consistent delivery of technology solutions (CRM, etc.) and processes preferred
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Create messaging, marketing materials, and sales tools for presentations and campaigns.
Manage projects and execute marketing campaigns with attention to detail.
Prioritize and execute simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with B2C and B2B advertising campaigns.
