Job Overview:
As Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay for 5,000+ employees across multiple states. Duties include processing payrolls, performing regular audits of employee data, managing terminations and other regular employee maintenance, and providing customer support for our payroll and timekeeping systems via phone, e-mail, and in-person.
Diligently process payroll to ensure deadlines are met, payments are accurate, and adherence to internal controls and external regulations
Provide customer service for UKG Payroll and Dimensions applications
Assist with processing wage garnishments
Maintain written documentation regarding payroll procedures and processes necessary for reference and training materials
Complete weekly audits of HR and tax data to ensure smooth payroll processing
Assist in managing the payroll support inbox and voicemail to ensure timely responses
Assist with ad hoc projects, audits, and data request fulfillment, completing tasks on time, with little supervision, and with a high level of attention to detail
Assist in training new team members on procedures

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Proven record of completing tasks on time and demonstrating a commitment to excellence and growth
Ability to maintain composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
Effective verbal and written co communication including active listening skills, problem-solving skills, and presentation skills
Ability to proactively seek out others within the organization to resolve issues
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience involving responsibilities such as customer service, office administration, problem-solving or data maintenance
Basic knowledge of payroll and human resources concepts
Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions preferred
Ability to utilize Excel to perform complex analysis, data merges, and calculations
Must have excellent work habits, including a commitment to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially during payroll processing days
High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidential information
Strong time management, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
