Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Information Technology Specialist to join our growing team, this is an entry level position.
IT Help Desk/Support Specialist
As an IT Help Desk/Support Specialist, you will be providing basic desktop support on a variety of issues through identification, research, and resolution of technical problems. Manage helpdesk tickets and phone calls using best practices, excellent communication skills and IT department procedures for technical support. Review and complete assigned tickets within a timely manner. Promote excellent customer relations in every customer transaction, contact and communication.
Major Responsibilities & Duties:
Investigate system issues and provide solutions using specific product knowledge, system tools and established methods and procedures. Document solutions and maintain helpdesk ticket information and transactions as required.
Work with the IT team to resolve high level hardware and software issues.
Resolve problems, provide remote assistance, document, and manage tickets.
Work with members of IT team to maintain accurate hardware/software inventory.
Participate on team projects.
Proactively complete assigned tasks resulting in successful, on time, high quality deliverables.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
Setting up accounts for new users
Manage user access
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Testing new technology
Participate in desktop, peripheral, building moves, additions, support, and other projects as defined and required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates must be/have:
1+ years of experience in IT support

Proficiency with using Windows 10 operating system.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
PC hardware, network, and cloud connectivity
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, end users with varying levels of technical experience.
Education:
Minimum:
Associates degree in information technology
Preferred candidates will also have one or more of these additional certifications.
ITIL
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
CompTIA IT Fundamentals+
Comp TIA A+
