Job Details:
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will develop and maintain architectural deliverables for information solutions in a cost-effective manner, compliant with defined service standards, and in regard for long-term business success. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a passion for using technology to solve business challenges, the highest level of integrity, and a strong initiative and drive.
This is an in-office position that will work from our office in Owatonna, MN. A work from home option is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with IT Leaders to document current state architecture and roadmaps for future state for each of the infrastructure domains.
Develop a quick understanding of our various infrastructure domains like compute, storage, disaster recovery, network, O365, end user computing, tools, etc.
Drive the modernization of infrastructure to enable on-prem cloud native development.
Identify opportunities to improve operations using current tool sets.
Extend DevOps principles throughout the Infrastructure domain.
Demonstrate advanced use of appropriate skills and tools while working independently on assigned systems and in assigned roles.
Serve as a change agent, role model, mentor, and leader.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the IS levels of support, operate effectively within the appropriate levels, and seek opportunity to improve the level of support.
Collaborate with and appropriately communicate with stakeholders of progress and issues related to assigned systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year degree with a preferred major in a computer-related field, mathematics, or business; or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Infrastructure demonstrating strong technical, logic, and leadership skills as well as the ability to apply architectural principles to information solutions.
Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, ITIL, Dynatrace, and automation technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build successful working relationships in a team environment.
An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and personnel information.
