Job Description
Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Senior Manager I, Facilities Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the strategic management of non-serialized assets (roofs, parking lots, structure, landscaping, and plumbing) within Sam's Club's asset fleet. This position will oversee the optimization of asset reliability and the total cost of ownership while acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Facilities Maintenance team.
What you'll do:
Asset Management and Strategy Development: You will lead the development and execution of our non-serialized asset capital strategy/plan, focusing on assets such as parking lots, roofing, building structure, interior and exterior paint, plumbing infrastructure, interior flooring, and more.
Contract Management: You will be responsible for the development of facility maintenance provider contract terms and identification of optimal maintenance providers, ensuring both quality and cost efficiency.
Maintenance Program Optimization: You will develop, deploy, and optimize preventative, predictive, and condition-based monitoring maintenance programs, ensuring that our assets remain in excellent condition and prevent unforeseen downtime.
KPI Development and Tracking: You will devise key performance indicators for assets and associated maintenance providers, monitoring these metrics to drive improvements and ensure optimal asset performance.
Database Management: You will oversee the management of our facilities maintenance databases, ensuring that all asset data is accurate and up-to-date.
Quality Assurance Programs: You will lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of quality assurance programs, ensuring that all maintenance work is performed to the highest standards.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
Six Sigma certifications
5+ years of reliability engineering experience
Strong understanding and experience in contract creation and management
Proven track record in managing facilities maintenance databases
Experience in establishing and maintaining quality assurance programs
Business knowledge and experience in developing and presenting business cases to executive leadership
Data-driven, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and build business cases through data trend analysis
