Position Summary:
HVAC QA/QC manager coordinates quality assurance activities for the Arizona Home Performance program related to implementing HVAC programs. HVAC QA/QC manager determines eligibility for all contractors applying to HVAC related programs and evaluates the work performed according to program guidelines. The HVAC QA/QC manager will help to monitor the quality of HVAC work performed on the homes of utility customers. The HVAC QA/QC manager will coordinate desk audits on software entries and will process and approve incoming customer rebates. The HVAC QA/QC manager provide on-site inspection of the work completed as part of HVAC program implemented through the Home Performance Program. The HVAC QA/QC manager will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating tracking reports that monitor the success of the program.
Essential Functions: % of Time
- Determine contractor eligibility for participation in Arizona Home Performance related HVAC programs using program guidelines
- Provide contractor training and technical support as needed
- Evaluate software data inputted and approves correct data input
- Evaluate and approve customer and contractor rebates
- Keep contractor files updated and organized
- Keep customer rebates updated and organized for two years
- Provide on-site inspections of work completed
- Assist customers and contractors with questions, referrals, and complaints as necessary
- Respond to any and all complaints in a timely manner utilizing program guidelines
- Complete any necessary billing documentation and reports
- Assist with scheduling mentorships and inspections as needed.
- Monitor supply of direct install items and distribute supply to contractors
- Order direct install supplies when necessary
- Maintain and regularly update reports that track the success of the program.
- Create, maintain, and update reports as required by funders
- Coordinate service delivery with utility-appointed third parties as necessary
- Serve as a supervisor to the program assistant position
- Performs other job related tasks as necessary
- Acquire awareness of other resources to assist clients
Miscellaneous
- Prepares program reports as requested by the Programs Administrator
- Supports and encourages linkage with other FSL programs, services, and facilities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Experience/Credentials/Knowledge/Understanding
Minimum Required
- Knowledge and experience with the HVAC industry
- General knowledge in energy efficient construction and/or in BPI Building Standards.
- Must know and be able to utilize effective management and leadership techniques.
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and insurance.
- 5+ years experience in the HVAC industry.
- HS Diploma
- Bilingual - Spanish
- Computer knowledge in Word, Excel, and software database programs
- Some college preferred
- 10+ years working with HVAC programs.
- Experience performing HVAC inspections.
$61,092 - $91,638 DOE
Additional Compensation:
