Job Description
Caerus Corp is a Blaine, MN based corporation that designs, manufactures, and has commercialized an impressive portfolio of medical products for the human and veterinary markets. Our mission is to deliver life enhancing pain management technologies to both people and animals. Our brands include OrthoCor Medical, Animal Ortho Care, New Options Sports, and Red Fox Innovations. We have factories that manufacture our products in two locations in Blaine, MN and Farmers Branch, TX.
Caerus is seeking a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare basic financial reports under minimal supervision. They also help assist in the day-to-day maintenance of complete and accurate payroll processing and general ledger accruals.

Responsibilities:
Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and conducting internal audits.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure processing and reporting deadlines are being met.
Prepare management reports
Respond to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
Perform bank reconciliations. Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve overall success of operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
1-2 years of related experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Intermediate proficiency in Excel required.
Working knowledge of GAAP.
NetSuite proficiency a plus.

Self-motivated and able to work well, both independently and within a team.
