Job Description
Job Title: Bookkeeper/Entry-Level Accountant
Department: Finance
Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper/Entry-Level Accountant is well-versed in Finance. This person will be responsible for the daily accounting operations of the Finance Department. This position will work closely with the President of the organization and the Business Administrator to make sure the Finance Department is running seamlessly and all reporting and projections are delivered to the President and are error-free.
The main objective of this role is to manage the checks and balances that make up the organization's financial health. This role will manage the AP/AR functions of the organization and work directly with the president and CEO to ensure the company is positioned to advance and progress in alignment with the financial goals of the organizational strategy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger Management
- Monitor daily revenue goals
- Set weekly collections goals and meet/exceed them
- Bank account and general ledger account reconciliation
- Manage payroll tax and 401k requirements
- Provide regular and consistent cash reporting to the president
- Ensure month-end collection goals are achieved to hit the required monthly revenue
- Prepare monthly statements to review with the leadership team
- Provide all necessary information for financial audits
- Work with the company accountant to provide all needed information for taxes
- Assist in budgetary preparations and financial forecasting for the company
- Special financial projects as assigned or requested
- Update and maintain financial SOP's
- Manage company credit cards
- Review employee expense reports
- Manage financial controls and implement controls where necessary

- 3+ years of working directly in Finance
- A love of auditing and spreadsheet analysis
- Advanced working knowledge of Micrsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Advanced working knowledge of Quickbooks
- Working knowledge of GSuite

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
