The goal of KBS is to make it easier for organizations to support the needs of their staff with comprehensive and easy-to-use insurance and benefits programs. From large public-school systems to sprawling hospitals and everywhere in between, we have a solution for you.
Consult with c-suite on marketing strategy in consultation with outside marketing firm to, develop, review and analyze:
- Drip marketing campaigns firm wide
- Manage MailChimp system along with outside Data Manager
- Website design and updates
- Monthly marketing analysis firm wide
- Liaison and coordinate activities between firm and service provider partnerships and non-carrier providers
Manage professional association and conference engagement activities
- Develop, design, and deploy marketing strategy and campaigns around customer facing conventions
- Coordinate and attend all onsite convention activities including tradeshow and special events
Coordinate and manage firm CRM for all sales and client activity in concert with Executive Assistant
- Update, design, and report on CRM activity bi-weekly
- Identify and track the lifecycle of prospects and sales activities with CRM
Consult with c-suite on business development strategy
- Coordinate and manage business development activity across all firm programs and services
- Conduct market research within all active and inactive verticals
- Engage with prospective customers to place products and services
- Drive the end-to-end sales process across all firm programs and services while coordinating the contracting process and the hand off to account management team
- Respond, develop, and manage the RFP/RFQ process across the firm
- Provide demonstrations, group meetings and one on one presentations
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Insurance experience preferred
- Experience within the education, government, or healthcare preferred
- Be or become fully licensed within state of Kansas life, health, property and casualty insurance lines
- Post secondary degree in marketing preferred, will consider direct work experience in insurance field or unique verticals in place of education
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of generating pipeline and selling with or through partners
- Experience with business and marketing technology
- Experience in or mind for designing marketing and customer copy
- Carry a keen understanding of technology and the fast-paced B2B space
- Consultative or value selling experience preferred
- Soft skills of curiosity, coachability and willingness to learn
