Entry Level Accountant/Bookkeeper
RTA Outdoor Living LLC
Location: Indiana (remote, hybrid). Must be resident of Indiana.
RTA Outdoor Living is a fast growing e-commerce manufacturing company located in New Hampshire with manufacturing facilities in Indiana. We build high quality ready to assemble outdoor kitchens with a focus on excellence in customer service and experience. RTA is focused on using technology to market, design, and produce custom outdoor kitchens. We are looking for an entry-level to experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper. If you have just graduated from college and are ready to learn, or if you have been in the accounting field for a few years and are ready to move up, we provide a challenging but rewarding work environment and encourage you to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide high level of customer service to operations and other departments
● Review and post expense transactions, including cash and credit card reconciliations
● Assist in preparing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
● Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures
● Process bi-weekly payroll
● Administer and be lead resource for Employee Health Reimbursement Program
● Produce reports to upper management upon request
● Reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices including auditing, and reconcile vendor and customer accounts, respectively
● Process employee reimbursements
● Various accounting duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
● Team player who is deadline oriented
● Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
● Knowledge of GAAP – manufacturing and inventory accounting including accrual accounting
● 2-5 years of financial accounting experience
● Experience with Accounting software (NetSuite experience is added plus)
● Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
● Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
● Impeccable attention to detail skill set
● Proficient to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
● Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete tasks on a timely basis
● Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to all aspects of job functions
● Experience with Netsuite software preferred
Base Salary: $46,000 - $60,000 /yr
