Job Description
Growing I.T. Consulting firm in far west suburbs looking to add level 1 tech to handle immediate need tech support calls. Looking for Full or Part-time.
Responsibilities include:
· Initial ticket response - mostly remote assistance and troubleshooting
· password resets
· new user creation/deletion
· patch management
· Provide back-up support for the IT field team
· Some travel to client site may be required so reliable transportation is a must.
· Rotating emergency hours schedule – not a lot, but some
The right candidate will have:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and coworkers
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong multitasking - ability to handle multiple tickets and projects concurrently
· Ability to write and present information and documentation
· Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
· Experience installing/uninstalling PC hardware/software a plus
· Have a basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and printers is a plus
· Positive attitude - required
· Willingness to learn
