As our newest Associate System Administrator, you will work with leading DevOps and Software Engineers on cutting edge cloud and IaaS technologies. With your ever-expanding toolset, you will be responsible for the overall health of multiple applications and their operating environments, ensuring reliability and availability while supporting a dynamic, changing feature-set.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This is an entry-level position in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, so during any given day you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and tasks, such as:
Learn and employ AWS resources to further the company’s technology mission
Deepen your knowledge and use of Linux to deliver sophisticated application hosting solutions and solve complex automation problems
Monitor and respond to everyday issues and problems and contribute to root cause analysis
Develop and improve troubleshooting and communication processes for the Technology organization
Support software engineers through administration of team tools and processes
Aid in capacity planning and change management
Participate in security audits
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a background in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
Exposure and interest in cloud technologies
Exposure and interest in Linux or other comparable operating systems
Possess good problem solving skills and resourcefulness
Able to communicate well and work as part of a professional and collaborative team
