Pay is depending on experience, minimum is $56,870.85/annually, $2,187.34/bi-weekly
Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing the Marketing Department’s strategies that support the Bank’s growth goals and sales activities in the Bank’s digital channels. The position proactively creates digital assets and content for multi-faceted product and service campaigns and sales promotions through the use of digital channels that include Pinpoint marketing, email service providers, video platforms and social media. The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager and assists with customer acquisition programs and affiliate advertising. This position is responsible for content on Bank’s websites and communicates regularly with third party website and email platform vendors, and manages aspects of the Northrim product information network which includes online customer product touch points. This position serves as an active member of product launches working closely with other departments within the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Email Marketing Platform: Responsible for outbound e-mail marketing platform as an electronic marketing communication channel. Manage various email campaigns, including template designs, calls-to-action, and content to be used in email communications. Develop schedule of campaigns that mirrors the initiatives of the bank. Manages the ongoing use of this digital marketing tool by analyzing results using industry benchmarks and past results and implementing optimizations as needed.
Social Media: Manages consistent social media strategy and elevate the bank’s brand across a variety of social channels by maintaining a social media calendar, creating content, analyzing results, and recommending when to purchase social media advertising. Regularly shares feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with team to help improve communication and marketing strategies.
Pinpoint Marketing Platform: Responsible for the management of Pinpoint marketing messaging and asset creation, the bank’s always-on, omni-channel digital marketing system to identify customer segments and needs and recommend appropriate products and services. Utilize available reporting for continuous refinements.
Product Information Network: Support the Bank’s information efforts by creating complementary digital channel strategies to support new product, customer acquisition or other bank-wide initiatives. Manage delivery for all digital screen touch points, including developing creative. Write and post internal communications through NBi (bank intranet) and maintain an editorial calendar that supports the bank’s communication goals. Work with IT, Human Resources and other departments in the bank to enhance and manage Bank’s use of video as a form of communication and facilitate additional bank training digital channels. Lead the creation and implementation of new content, features and functionality on the Bank’s websites.
Website: Be the administrator for the Bank’s websites to include managing the website service providers and coordinating with Compliance, IT and other departments to ensure an effective and accurate online customer interface. Monitor and report on website usage and identify opportunities to improve web traffic and drive usage of the online channel. Manage Bank’s website content management system.
Events: Supports employee and customer events. Attend community marketing events as bank representative to gain insights and make valuable connections.
Attendance: Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Administrative: Serve as back up for the customer comment center for routing customer comments. Responsible for managing other administrative functions, as assigned.
Complete online, written and in-person compliance training within established timeframes.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is required.
Related experience may be substituted for education requirement.
Experience
Five years of related work experience in marketing. Experience in the financial services industry desirable.
One year of website experience.
Experience working under pressure and with tight deadlines is important. Attention to detail and organization is critical.
Related military education/experience may be used as a substitute for education or work experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Knowledge & Communication Skills
Have excellent business writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze data and present it in a way that can be easily understood by bank management.
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in the English language and in an effective manner with customers, staff, management, and third party vendors.
Ability to interact and communicate professionally with people at all levels in a manner all will understand.
Must understand and have the ability to implement applicable compliance requirements.
Analytical & Decision Making Skills
A good problem solver and have the ability to understand complex instructions high-level direction.
Detail oriented with the ability to proof read documents for accuracy and managing project logistics.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.
Complete work and manage priorities under stressful conditions and tight deadlines.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and general instructions, as well as possessing the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage complex projects.
Independent critical thinking is necessary.
Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills
Highly proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.
Knowledge of online communities, including blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, mobile and other emerging digital marketing trends (Examples include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest).
Knowledge of web content management systems such as Drupal or WordPress.
Knowledge of web design and HTML is required.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
Video editing/directing experience a plus.
Working Conditions
