The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Aerodynamics Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry-Level Aerodynamics Engineer – Computer Aided Technology to join our Berkeley, MO team. This position provides maintenance and user support functions for aerodynamic/propulsion tools, various commercial products, and software libraries for new development, upgraded designs and various integration projects.
The Flight Engineering Capability supports the business in all aspects of the product life cycle, where this position will serve as a member of a technical team of engineers in the areas of aerodynamic performance, stability and control, flying qualities, weapon separation and/or propulsion in the design and analysis of flight vehicles and their components.

Position Responsibilities:
Fundamentals of aerospace, flying qualities and propulsion engineering principles
General library utility, user interface toolkit and data input/access fundamentals
On-site aerodynamic / propulsion wind tunnel test support which requires travel to various wind tunnel facilities several times each year
Engineering graphics and test data systems / procedures principles
Programming, maintenance and modernizing various aerodynamic technical programs (FORTRAN, C/C++, PERL and Python)
Engineering support of training and instruction to support technical analytical processes
Interaction with internal and external customers including government customers
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Minimum of 18 years of age
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Software development experience with JAVA, C++, Fortran, Python or other programming languages
Experience with enterprise web content management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines
Experience working both independently and in team environments
Experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range: $66,300 – $89,700
