Job Summary - TEAM PLAYER WANTED
Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for accounts receivable related administrative functions, including contacting delinquent customers via phone and email to secure payment, including printing and mailing of statements, reviewing account histories with customers, and posting payments, credit memos and adjustments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely processing of payments whether through cash, check, credit card or electronic means
- Creating and distributing Accounts Receivable for internal stakeholders
- Hold internal Accounts Receivable meetings to review balances and actions with internal stakeholders
- Reconcile customer invoices to time and material backup, validate charges
- Research any account discrepancies and make adjustments as necessary
- Verify invoices for sales or services rendered
- Must be able to plan, organize and prioritize work load to ensure deadlines are met
- Proven ability to calculate and post money
- Customer Account set-up and maintenance back-up
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- General math skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills

Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- 5+ years accounts receivable

Salary Description
$45,000 to $65,000 Annually
