Job Description
:
Information Technology is one of the fastest-growing teams within UWM and we are looking for an entry level Training Coordinator to support getting our team members up and running at the highest level! Our training coordinators are responsible for the training and development of team members in IT through coordinating training logistics and facilitating pre- and post-training
activities. We need a rock star candidate who can collaborate with IT and other training teams to fulfill the needs of team members! The training coordinator we are looking for should be a strong collaborator and possess intermediate writing and computer skills.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Collaborate with the Support Training team to coordinate room logistics and
scheduling
Send training invitations to learners including necessary materials and
prerequisites
Communicate logistical changes to trainers and learners
Coordinate training initiatives such as lunch & learn sessions or open knowledge
sharing sessions
Enroll team members in pre-training and post-training activities
Enter training records into the learning management system
Set up rooms for training prior to training
Coordinate or print materials needed for training
Update the training course catalog for team members to enroll
Distribute learner reaction feedback surveys
Coordinate invitations for guest speakers and leader visits
Facilitate retrospectives for program training
Collaborate with space coordinators for program learner seating
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Must Have Qualifications:
- Previous coordination experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Passionate, enthusiastic and motivational attitude.
- A desire to engage with new team members every week and be an advocate for
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong time management ability
- Flawless organizational skills including multi-tasking
- The desire to be curious, creative, and resourcefulness.
- Self-Starter
- High School Diploma
- Onsite attendance is requried
- Experience with creating Academy content and enrolling team members in
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience with education and/or adult learning theory
