Job Description
A leading manufacturer in the food industry is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Fairfield, Ohio! As the Financial Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and presenting them to senior management. This position also requires This position requires a strong background in manufacturing and knowledge of GAAP accounting with the ability to travel occasionally to offices in Corona, CA and Salinas, CA.

Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Gather financial data and ensure accuracy of reported financials
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including analyzing budget vs actual results
Reconcile internal accounts and recommend corrective journal entries
Present financial reports to senior management alongside the Senior Financial Analyst
Travel 4-8 times a year to different offices to present information and data
Collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst to train and mentor a tax associate who will assist in the department
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel occasionally to different office locations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
Strong communication and presentation skills
