Job Description
Are you a recent college grad with a degree in Accounting or Finance & are looking to start your career? One of the world leaders in building materials is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to its Tacoma team. This company remains an industry leader and is expanding its local accounting division because of sustained growth. The company looks to hire candidates directly out of college or applicants with 2+ years of relevant experience. This role will support the accounting team either on the AP or AR side. The ideal candidate will have a team mentality and be motivated to learn.
This is a Temp to Hire role that is Hybrid
In this Accounting Clerk role, you will:
Process invoices and cash receipts
Sort documents, including checks and invoices
Reconciles report discrepancies and problems
Codes data for input in accordance with company policy
Helps with vendor management and investigate discrepancies
Supports accounting team with projects or time sensitive reports
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, Hybrid (2 days remote, start time is negotiable
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/ Finance or 2 years of relevant experience
1 + year of experience with AR/AP or billing
Vendor management experience with strong communication skills
Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook (SAP is a positive)
Pay: $23-24 an hour - DOE, Hybrid schedule & start time is flexible
