We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented person to increase company revenue by identifying profitable opportunities and developing long-term growth strategies and relationships. The right person for this position has experience in the Concrete Finishes and Industrial Floors field. This person is personable and socially aware. The kind of person who never meets a stranger. They have a professional yet friendly disposition; can equally carry on a conversation with all ranks in a company with the same confidence and enthusiasm.
The responsibilities of this position may include recommending ways to improve outreach planning, attending meetings with clients and advisors, and notifying partners of key business developments. The right person should also be able to create opportunities by analyzing current market data.
To be successful in this role, the right person should be persuasive and have strong business acumen. Ultimately, an exceptional National Accounts Manager should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Role and Responsibilities
The National Accounts Manager is responsible for:
· Building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
· Developing in-depth knowledge of company services to identify profitable business opportunities.
· Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to company executives and management and suggesting strategies to expand market reach and success rates.
· Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed.
· Researching emerging trends and recommending new company strategies to increase close rates.
· Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
· Developing strategic National Retailer/Grocer accounts.
· Involvement in local/national Tradeshows and organizations.
· Travel as required.
Qualification requirements
· Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Exceptional leadership and management skills.
· Effective communication and negotiation skills.
· Strong business acumen.
· Detail-oriented and persuasive.
\* This position is out of our Corporate Office in Dallas - Relocation will be required\*
Preferred Skills
Related experience in the Industrial Floors space, preferably someone who has worked with a National company and handled multiple strategic accounts successfully.
