The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is a non-profit Tribal health organization designed to meet the unique health needs of Alaska Native and American Indian people living in Alaska. Under general direction combines deep technical and analytics skills with a sound understanding of how to deliver data-driven solutions to transform clinical, financial and operational processes. Maintains a broad understanding of the organization’s technical environment and is responsible for designing, developing and deploying high value analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
Acquires and leverages a deep understanding of the data structures and tools within ANTHC’s data and analytics strategy and actively seeks opportunities to reinforce ANTHC’s data and analytics strategy.
Applies technical leadership, customer service, and communication skills and frequently serves as the primary lead on small to medium-scale process improvement efforts.
Works closely with Analytics Architects to support large-scale improvement opportunities.
Leverages ANTHC software and technologies to develop analytics solutions to support outcomes improvement initiatives across clinical, operational and financial domains.
Assists with the development and implementation of sound data governance and change management practices, actively participates in related activities, and mentors and trains peers and stakeholders.
Gathers, analyzes, and documents business, clinical, or regulatory requirements .
Designs and develops data models, extracts, data transformations, data migrations, data visualizations, reports, and other related deliverables that meet project requirements.
Produces or participates in documentation for end-user training and peer knowledge transfer.
Creates deliverables to automate the computation of data driven measures related to clinical quality, resource utilization, revenue analysis, and other subjects as needed.
Adheres to and champions the use of ANTHC design principles and documentation standards. Adheres to and champions compliance with ANTHC data security policies and protocols.
Manages time effectively to meet project goals and timelines with competing priorities.
Fosters data-driven culture at ANTHC and within Tribal Health Organizations (THOs); assists with knowledge transfer and training on ANTHC technologies.
Supports ad hoc reporting requests and efforts to maintain a healthy reporting environment. Supports validation, training, and deployment efforts for projects and reporting enhancements.
Works with team to track and monitor the entire portfolio of applications and reports. Contributes to a positive environment for reporting applications and/or system deficiencies and proactively pursue system improvements and enhanced functionality.
Provides on call and after hours support coverage to maintain the production systems on a rotating basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Other information:
KNOWLEDGE
· Knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles with application for business solutions required.
· Knowledge of data modeling.
· Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office Tools, including advanced MS Excel, Word, Visio PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
· Knowledge of gathering and accurately documenting business requirements and translating into data and analytics tools and solutions.
· Working knowledge of database principles, processes, technologies and tools.
SKILLS
· Skill in Structured Query Language (SQL) required.
· Skill in data analysis; Knowledge of various analysis, reporting, and presentation tools.
· Skill in providing training and education for data management, reporting, and validation.
· Skill in written and verbal communication and presentation.
· Strong ability to interact with and communicate with all levels of employees and clients.
· Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands, working independently
· Skill in drafting, proofreading and editing documents for publication.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics or business-related related field. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience as a Programmer/Analyst, Data Architect, comparable education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
- Non-supervisory – Seven (7) years professional work in software development, computer programming, or related area.
Pay: $107,998.38 per year
