What We Do
D & A Services is an experienced debt collection agency that services the largest debt purchasers as well as direct bank issuers. We were established in 2010 and we pride ourselves in delivering great service to our clients and customers.
We are located in the Des Plaines/Rosemont area, near the Allstate Arena. We are accessible by public transportation.
Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for accuracy and timeliness of processing payments, as well as providing support to the treasury team with data entry and other transactional duties. This is a great opportunity for an adept learner looking to start or continue a career path in an office setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and process payments from customers, clients, or partners using various payment methods, such as credit cards, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), checks, and online payment platforms. Ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
Enter payment details, accurately, into the organization's financial system, including customer information, payment amounts, and invoice numbers. Validate and verify payment information for accuracy and completeness.
Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, such as rejected payments, failed transactions, or billing errors.
Maintain consumer confidence and protects. operations by adhering to financial regulations, industry standards, and data security protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of payment information.
Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in payment processing.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible for daily mail procedure: receive mail, review, record, identify proper
Dependable, regular attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this job.
Skills/Qualifications:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Excel and Outlook, required.
Minimum High School Education or Equivalent required
Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
Minimum six months experience in payment processing, banking, bookkeeping, treasury, or accounting role preferred.
Must be able to work independently within an open team environment.
Detail oriented with strong ability to focus on task completion and juggle multiple priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience
Benefits package available after 60 days of employment: Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP.
