Job Summary:
This position is within the Mission Management team, more specifically within the Mission System Engineering (MSE) team with cross-training opportunities on the Calibration (CAL) and the Re-evaluation (RE-EVAL) teams. The MSE team manages the analysis and collection of outage metrics, integration of baseline changes, facilitation of customer meetings both weekly and accomplishment based, investigates and integrates performance optimization, and provides problem analysis support.
The CAL team provides performance metrics on numerous sub-systems by testing with known resources. The RE-EVAL team is responsible for analysis and trending while also evaluation new system capabilities for internal and external customers.
This position is an onsite role – Aurora, Colorado

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Keen interpersonal and team skills
Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical information to personnel of varied technical expertise, emerging project management skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Successful candidate will complete an extensive training/certification program.
Act as program authority and spokesperson for all related system issues
Adept at utilizing commercial and proprietary resources in their job and be given the opportunity to create tools via scripts to support required analysis.
Act as the program technical liaison with subsystem principal engineers, the program office and senior program management for all subsystem related activities.
While the primary shift for this position is the day shift there are occasions that require after hours support.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Excellent systems engineering skills
Excellent project leadership skills
Leadership and team-building skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills
An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of structured programming and ability to create infrastructure utilizing this knowledge

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
