Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring Technicians to work with our client in Mesa, Arizona.
As a Technician, you will:
Learn how to rack and stack assets including network switches, computer servers, PDUs and related equipment in a data center environment
Install and organize computer and networking cables
Label cables in accordance with build specifications
Tag assets to ensure proper cataloging in asset database
Work with hand tools to assemble cabinets and install related hardware
Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Experience working with Ethernet and Computer Hardware
Willingness to learn and grow in our envrionment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand throughout an 8-hour shift, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment as needed
Experience with the following is a plus:
Racking and stacking
Fiber Optic cables
Previous work in a data center environment
Hardware installation
Networking or computer certifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience, or equivalent work experience
This is a 1st shift position with 40 hours in week, Onsite 5 days per week.
Pay rate for this role is 20.00/hour. (Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.)
