Job Description: Sales Account Manager
This is a remote based position responsible for selling and servicing floral wholesale and retail accounts in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Northern California, and Alaska. Position expected to travel to customer sites, corporate headquarters in Kokomo, Indiana and attend select trade shows.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns
- Understand clients' business objectives and provide strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate pricing agreements with clients
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Track and report on key account metrics, such as sales revenue and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in account management or sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus
