Job Description
Marketing Manager
Work for Wall Street Journals Number 1 Team! Extremely BUSY fast-paced company in the Far West Suburbs is looking for a results-driven Marketing Strategist/Manager who can think outside of the box, wear more than one hat, and can pivot quickly. Must have the ability to work independently, embrace variety, and have a team-player mentality. This position is responsible for researching, developing, and communicating strategic marketing plans to meet the company's goals.
Salary will commensurate with experience
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Social Media- Must be familiar with most social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and others. The position includes heavy social media post creation, blog content, web content, and writing copy within those formats. Creation of posts used to target our audience, engage clients, and cultivate new leads. Grow social media following through paid ads and organic growth.
Graphic Design- The position requires intermediate-level graphic design ability. Design print materials such as postcards, booklets, event invitations, etc. Must have experience with Canva; basic Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other design software would be helpful.
Analytics- Must be proficient in Google Analytics, SEO, Social Media, and Website Analytics. Will analyze data, deliver reports, monitor KPIs (key performance indicators), and advise on improvement strategies to boost performance. Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Google AdWords.
Content Management- Manage website, blog content, and social media content. Manage digital and print marketing while making sure all content meets compliance standards. Create a newsletter, monthly email content, and Facebook Group content. Communicate with our audience through omnipresence marketing. Must have the ability to proofread copy and meet any industry regulations required.
Public Relations- Coordinate regular PR events and research new opportunities.
Event Coordination and Management- Plan, oversee, and manage events throughout the year for both clients and the team from start to finish. Including but not limited to venue coordination, invitations, pre and post-event marketing, and continuous follow-up.
Other Items-
Possess the ability to create and work within a marketing budget- Track ROI and report quarterly to management
Project Management of multiple projects at one time
Manage mailing lists, postcards, and print mailers
Provide concierge-level service
Hold group training sessions as needed
Maintain and meet deadlines, project schedules, and coordinate a calendar of events
Provide project status updates and communicate with management regularly
Manage digital ads such as Google and Facebook
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience
Experience- Minimum 2 years
Must possess excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Google Suite, Gmail, Drive, and Ads
Ability to work an M-F schedule in the office with occasional weekend or evening hours
Ability to travel for training or events if needed (minimal)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
