Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the digital marketing technologies and Financial Professional (FP) communications for our independent (IFN) and career (1847Financial) distribution channels to drive a best in class user experience. In conjunction with the Director, Field Marketing & Communications, this role will develop and implement digital marketing technologies and oversee all aspects of our FP communications and digital content on our FP portal branded as Gateway.
Position Expectations
Digital Marketing
Evaluate, build and manage Penn Mutual’s web presence and marketing tools in partnership with the Information Management & Technology Department.
Oversee the selection, configuration, operation, and integration of websites and marketing technology applications and investments based on field marketing plans.
Work with internal resources to optimize website performance and design.
Develop and manage training and adoption of marketing tools and technology by field offices.
Document the business requirements and expected outcomes and map to appropriate technology through vendor and solution approval processes.
Deploy digital assets for marketing programs and campaigns to meet performance objectives and timelines.
Report on and analyze metrics to measure success of the Gateway platform.
Ensure effective deployment and use of existing marketing technologies. Provide ongoing evaluation of current and future marketing technology platforms
Directly oversees digital strategies for acquisition across media on digital marketing channels to drive a superior user experience.
Drives digital acquisition growth through an understanding of the competitive digital landscape, optimizing existing channel performance and identifying new placement opportunities.
Partners with business stakeholders to develop KPI measurement for campaigns to drive organizational impact and growth.
Identify external trends, challenges and opportunities facing Penn Mutual, and their implications for current strategies and plans. Partner with distribution leadership to define and implements solutions to support/address.
FP Communications
Lead team in administering all aspects of the Gateway intranet site to provide timely, relevant and impactful communications, marketing content and information to our Financial Professionals.
Support the field communications strategy and drive implementation to ensure clarity and connection of messages to the company strategy, priorities and culture.
Partner with Product Marketing to ensure timely delivery of product marketing materials and communications via Gateway to the field.

Required Experience
A minimum of 7 years life insurance industry field marketing experience is preferred. Financial services industry experience required.
Experience managing teams, third-party agencies and vendor partners to activate and manage campaigns and technology.
Proven ability to develop and execute on comprehensive communications and content strategy.
Experience with website and marketing analytics tools including Facebook Ads Manager, AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite’s Amplify and Smart Office or comparable tools required.
Solid working knowledge of web development.
Technical experience across all digital channels, user experience (UX) including experience optimizing SEO and paid digital media.
Education/Licenses/Professional Designations
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or similar discipline) required

Salary Range - $135,000 - $170,000
