The Advanced Tactical Pod Mission area is looking for a Financial Program Controls analyst, who has an active Secret clearance, to join the Specter finance team. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for an individual to have responsibility supporting execution for classified programs.
Responsibilities include working closely with Program Managers and functional counterparts on forecast and EAC inputs, driving corrective actions to closure, and analyzing and communicating schedule and cost performance variances to the EAC and financial forecast plan. An ideal individual for this role will be a strong communicator with a desire to learn, seek process improvements and efficiency opportunities, and work in a fast-paced environment. In addition to recurring role activities, this individual will be expected to perform ad-hoc requests, creative solutions for program and process challenges, and assist in the development of fundamental and intermediary analytical skills of junior analysts.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity. Onsite work is expected 2-3 times per week in McKinney, TX.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis.
Work closely with various functional organizations during the Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) process as well as monitoring these organizations performance.
Drive the financial planning activities for their specific contract including RPLAN updates and analyze and communicate how program performance impacts BSPC (Bookings, Sales, Profit, & Cash).
Develop and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
Financial point of contact for Program Management and be able to provide financial guidance to IPT leads and non-finance organizations including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
5 years finance/accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related field or 3 years finance/accounting experience with a related Advanced degree.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain) in program development and execution.
Experience with APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office, Rplan, EDIT+ or a similar system
Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
Active DoD Clearance (Secret)

The candidate should be very knowledgeable of program control responsibilities which include meeting internal requirements such as coordinating budgetary agreements, preparing EACs and monthly forecasts.
