The Advanced Tactical Pod (ATP) Product Area of Raytheon has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support a growing area of emerging (classified) programs. This position will require working on a program team in direct support of Program Business Management requirements. The candidate must be able to work in an exciting environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity. Onsite work is expected 2-3 times per week in McKinney, TX.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Aligning with Program Management, Contracts, and Integrated Product Team’s to prepare budgets and baseline new programs in accordance with Raytheon policies.
Preparing accurate bookings, sales, material, staffing and profit forecasts
Generation of weekly/monthly labor and material financial reports
Preparing Gate 5 Budgets, baselines and monitoring progress and report variances
Supporting contracts by providing information for customer inquiries such as program actuals or expenditure profiles
Participating in the control of costs and schedules on contracts.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
Typically requires 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines.
Experience in organizing, preparing, presenting briefings to management and/or peers.
Active Secret DoD security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Excellent computer proficiency skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.
Ability to facilitate change and impact beyond authority level.
Experience and understanding of the Program Business role, APEX, Earned Value (EVMS), and/or experience of Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) concepts.
