Job Description
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of marketing, event management or related experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of DEI best practices and trends
Able to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment
Ability to influence without authority
Self-directed and proactive
Ability to handle confidential information and materials with discretion
Experience creating and managing project plans to support effective implementation of programs and initiatives
Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
Experience coordinating events, schedules, budgets, and managing logistics
Strong analytical and written communication skills

As the DEI Marketing Specialist at World Wide Technology, you will collaborate and work alongside internal partners to support marketing initiatives for the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) team. This position plays a key role in supporting the execution of our DEI marketing strategy related to events and communication. Provides marketing support to the DEI team and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Craft written messages, both internal and external, related to DEI
Manage and update content on DEI Platform and SharePoint pages
Work with WWT Marketing team to coordinate annual DEI Summit
Work with WWT Marketing team to coordinate DEI content for external events
Support DEI Manager in creating and building quarterly DEI newsletter and other marketing communications
Support ERG events
Collaborate with social media team to promote DEI events and activities
Manage Diversity Calendar, track ERG events and holidays and ensure deadlines are met
Work with WWT Marketing team to create materials that promote DEI branding and messaging
Support coordination and execution of DEI events for Global Operations
Create PowerPoint presentations for DEI team
