Job Description
Busy Office seeks part-time or full-time help for the front desk.
Are you excellent with communication skills, a multi-tasker, accountable and outgoing? If you answered yes, then we are looking for you.
Greeting patients, updating information, answering phones, making appointments and generally helping out where needed are some of the job requirements. Our ideal candidate would be able to multi-task, be detail orientated, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and answer multiple phone lines, have knowledge in dental insurance, posting payments, treatment planning and proper scheduling for multiple doctors. Knowledge of Dentrix software and dental experience is preferred. Experience in dental assisting is a definite plus. We offer a competitive wage based on experience. Paid time off is earned, if scheduled 20+ hours a week. Health insurance is available for full-time employees. Aflac insurance is available to everyone, and dental benefits are provided. 401k is effective after one year of employment and is offered to full-time employees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist patients in person and via the telephone, as well as correspondence via email
- Update patient charts and patient accounts
- Schedule hygiene appointments efficiently
- Process new patient paperwork and accounts
- Review patient insurance eligibility
- Confirm patient appointments
- Prepare and process referrals
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy policy
- Maintain a neat and professional environment
- Maintain a calm, cheery demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Front desk experience in a dental office.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
- General business office equipment knowledge
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Analytical skills
- Dependability and reliability
- Experience with insurance
