JAG Industrial & Marine Services is hiring Journeymen Level Marine Painter / Blaster from cities across America for projects located at shipyards across the United States.
Travel is required for all positions.

JAG Industrial & Marine Services is hiring Journeymen Level Marine Painter / Blaster for shipyards located throughout the U.S. JAG offers our Marine Painter / Blasters a competitive pay structure, with per diem available for qualified applicants and the potential to gross approximately $1,650.00 and above per week. Marine Painter / Blasters must have 5+ years trade specific work experience in the physically demanding marine repair environment and meet the position requirements listed below in the Position Description/Requirements. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and have a clean background for a minimum 10 years and able to pass 10 panel drug screen. Immediate openings, short & long term assignments.
POSITION DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
Blasters
1. Blasters must have three (3) or more years of experience in using high pressure blast equipment.
2. Experience must include working in a physically demanding environment, confined spaces, working at heights, and in the use of a blaster air-fed helmet and/or soft hood air-fed respirator and a negative-pressure half-face respirator.
3. Blasters must be of height and weight that will allow entrance and movement through man way and tank openings.
Painters:
1. The Marine Painter must have three (3) or more years of experience as a marine painter, specifically 3 years of Airless spray and conventional spray.
2. Minimum of 3 years of recent Marine Painter experience in a shipyard
3. Ability to apply coatings while maintaining desired MIL thickness
4. Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment
5. Must be clean shaven for respirator fit test
6. Ability to use power tools to accomplish cleaning
