Job Description
Servers can be in the Hibachi Section or Sushi Section. Below is a list of jobs that a server may perform each shift.
- Hibachi Server
- Sushi Server
Below is a scope of work each Server may be asked to perform each shift:
- Greet customers
- Use reservation system
- Morning Sushi Servers are asked to answer phones as well as place and assemble to-go orders
- Due to liquor handling laws servers must be 18 years old or older
- Entering orders into the POS system
- Double checking hibachi orders to ensure proper preparation from chefs
- Taking payment and making accurate change when necessary
- May be asked to buss and prepare tables
- Detailed menu knowledge
- Knowledge of food safety and guidelines especially for allergies
- Ensure guests are receiving superior customer service
- Proper hand washing technique
