Job Description
Service Today has an immediate opening for an HVAC Installer. If you are currently an HVAC Installer, now is the time to work for a growing company that values your ability.
Job Summary/Objective:
The HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for efficiently and accurately installing top of the line heating and cooling equipment in the customer’s home or business.
Essential Job Functions:
- Removal and installation of residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
- Keep your company truck clean, inside, and out.
- Keep your truck inventory up to date.
- Properly complete any paperwork necessary.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements and engaged in troubleshooting when needed to make system work appropriately.
Other Job Functions:
Maintain compliance with local, state and federal regulations (understand and abide by compliance requirements for operations).
Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office environment.
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
Ability to travel to other locations, to training sessions and/or meetings, car or air travel.
Ability to work in confined spaces
Qualifications/Abilities:
- Ability to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently
- Valid driver’s license
- Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with install residential HVAC systems
