Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:
Support a team that cares for youth, adolescents, or adults in a residential group home, or other setting
Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities (DD), intellectual disabilities (ID), a history of substance use disorder, those in recovery, individuals who have behavioral challenges, or mental health diagnoses
Provide a safe living environment for all individuals in our care
Document all relevant information in a timely and accurate manner
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements:
A minimum of 6-months experience working in Human Services or a related field as a residential counselor, mental health worker, caregiver, personal care assistant (PCA), home health aide (HHA), certified nurse assistant (CNA), patient care technician (PCT), Case Worker, or similar position
CPR and First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation
Passion for helping people
High School diploma or GED
MAP certification is a plus
