Job Description
Description: The Patient Services Representative is responsible for processing patient information, registering patients in the patient management system. Assisting patients in completing all required forms for insurance and payment purposes. Customer service is a core competency for all Patient Service Representatives.
Responsibilities:
· Greet patients, clients, and visitors entering the clinic following all organizational customer
service guidelines.
· Assist with incoming patient calls.
· Scheduling appointments and verifying eligibility.
· Check in patients and collect co-pays.
· Obtain accurate changes in patient demographics and insurances.
· Scanning documents when necessary.
· Maintain effective communication and working relationships with other employees and patients.
· Other functions as directed by the Supervisor.
