Job Description
Come join our team - MidAmerica Plastic Surgery is looking for a MEDICAL ASSISTANT.

Our team is expanding; as such, we are currently looking for a MEDICAL ASSISTANT to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE include:
- Minimum of one year’s experience in customer service required; experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- CMA or RMA certificate, highly desirable
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:
- Prepares patients for consultation, post-op, and follow up including review and documentation of health history and procedure consent forms and taking vital signs
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms
- Assists provider(s) in examinations and procedures
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization, restocking, and communicating supply and maintenance concerns
- Performs patient education and responds to patient questions and concerns when appropriate
- Comfortable with scheduling appointments and entering patient demographics and insurance information into practice management system
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, & PERKS:
- Full Time Position: Monday - Friday, with Fridays closing at 12 pm. Some evenings may be required as we hold events throughout the year.
- Starting pay for this position is $17.50 per hour
- After a 90-day introductory period, employee is eligible for the following benefits:
