Job Description
Automotive District Manager
Join our close-knit, family-owned automotive repair & maintenance company as a District Manager. This role will place you in a central position within our team, where you'll work directly with the owner, president, and your fellow District Managers.
As a District Manager, you will be a vital leader within the company. Responsible for 5 individual locations, this position will have around 30 employees reporting to him or her. Though Anderson is a central location for our business, this district includes stores up to 1 hour away from Anderson. This position requires a lot of driving. Candidates must be ok with driving up to 2 hours a day (when visiting farther stores). A company vehicle will be provided with free gas and maintenance.

Automotive District Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience is required
- 3+ years of automotive repair experience is required
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Mechanical ability is preferred, but not required
- Candidates must be trustworthy and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. They must be able to manage their time and responsibilities on their own.
- Successful experience managing profitability; proven financial and business sense
- Knowledge of store operations and processes
- Ability to execute and train team members on store operations & procedures
- Must excel at speaking with customers and resolving potential issues
Automotive District Manager Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed district sales and profitability goals
- Hiring, training, coaching, and retention of Store Managers
- Assist Store Managers with the hiring of mechanics and technicians
- Resolving service issues. Investigate procedural mistakes and discover the root cause of a vehicle issue.
- Calling and meeting with customers to investigate these issues
- Ensure proper staffing levels throughout the district
- Responsible for correct inventory tracking and valuations at each store
- Conduct regular store visits and evaluations. Provide constructive feedback to Store Managers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
