Revision Date:
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Data Compliance Officer to input data and make changes to existing data figures in online/digital databases. Data tracking is specific to monitoring youth and family-related program outcomes and assistance with ensuring that all program contracts are in compliance (e.g., data is up-to-date and accurate for youth and family services; documentation is maintained in an appropriate fashion).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for working closely with the Data Compliance Officer to input data and make changes to existing data figures in online/digital databases
Responsible for ensuring that all program data is collected and maintained in the appropriate electronic record system(s) (e.g., client enrollment data, report cards, attendance, outcome measurement tools, etc.)
Update client data in database
Responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of program and participant records and that all data/documentation is complete
Assists with preparation of reports for grantors/donors summarizing program performance and outcomes
Assists with updating performance dashboards summarizing program performance monthly
Create and update spreadsheets as needed to track important information for clients and services
Search for an investigate information contained in client files
Assist with quarterly client chart audits
Works with system administrators to update data collection and tracking systems as needed within the agency’s electronic record system
Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry as needed
Review data for deficiencies or errors and make appropriate corrections
Type in data quickly and efficiently
Actively participate in staff development workshops and trainings that are designed to contribute to personal and professional growth
Attend administrative meetings for major funders (such as The Children’s Trust, M-DCPS, Florida Department of Education, etc.)
Assists with program and community events as needed

Requirements:
High school diploma required
1 to 2 years’ experience with grants or administrative work
Basic computer skills required: Microsoft Office/Word/ Excel/Using online systems
Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
Must pass drug screening and Level 2 background check
Required ability and willingness to work some evening and/or weekend hours as needed
