A reputable, ethical, and results-driven law firm in Boca Raton committed to representing accident, serious injury, and property damage victims in various states is in need of a Medical Records Specialist.
The firm was founded in the early 2000's and has since expanded to have offices in several states across the country. The firm specializes in representing clients who have been injured in accidents, including car accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.

Position: Medical Records Specialist
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Full Time: Yes
Salary range: $16-17 hourly
Position Summary:
The Medical Records Specialist will verify and organize medical records as well as execute the appropriate follow up procedures. They should be proficient in excel, be able to verify that there are no discrepancies within documents, and have both great verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, professional, and has a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. Essential Job Functions:
- Perform general office clerk duties
- Handle incoming calls and other communication interaction with third parties
- Reduce or eliminate any potential of HIPAA violations
- Sort and update required forms and documentation
- Record information as needed
- Prepare and circulate reports as needed
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements & Skills:
- Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Strong and clear phone presence
- Experience using computers and performing data-entry functions
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving
