Job Description
Looking for a self-motivated, eager to learn Medical Assistant to work at an Opioid Treatment facility located in Griffin, GA. Early work hours required to work morning shift 3-5 days per week. Position is part-time with an opportunity to increase hours to full-time.
Medical Care
\* Draw blood and perform TB screening testing.
\* Collect and process UDS specimens.
\* Take blood pressure and the necessary vitals upon request form Medical Physician or Nurse.
\* Document information in client’s chart, medication dosing sheet and methadone inventory computer data.
Administrative Duties
\* File, data input, receive monies, creating forms, answering phone
\* Call patients for medication recalls, annual physicals and labs.
\* Ability to screen calls, complete intake assessment calls when needed.
\* Create intake charts, review charts for missing medical and treatment related information.
\* Manage lab inventory
\* Fax and retrieve medical records when requested per HIPPA law.
