Job Description
\*Assists in the assessment of patient care by taking vital signs, patient history, and determining chief complaint.
\* Assists physician with office examinations and procedures
\* Organizes and manages clinic patient flow.
\*Performs triage for calls from patients with healthcare concerns in accordance with the clinical protocols set in place by the practice.
\*Administers prescribed medications via intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed.
\*Completes all necessary and accurate documentation in the patient's medical record including scanning in documents.
\* Arranges for specialist consultations/referrals and appointments for testing, as ordered by the physician.
\*Monitors all clinical supplies keeping them stocked and organized. This includes patient forms and educational material.
\*Assist with patient and family education as directed.
\* Cleans rooms and instruments.
Requirements:
\* At least 1 year of OBGYN clinical experience excluding externship..
\* Work quickly and efficiently while multi-tasking.
\* Team player.
\* Ability to prioritize and organize work area.
\* Knowledgeable of HIPAA aspects of medical records.
\* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, patient families, physicians, coworkers, hospital staff, and all other medical professionals in a professional and tactful manner.
\* Ability to work with patients, doctors, and families providing optimal levels of patient care.
\* Ability to receive constructive criticism with a positive attitude.
\* Demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance.
\* Experience with electronic medical records and appointment scheduling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
