Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Serve food and drinks ensuring a positive dining experience.
Primary Tasks:
You will serve food and drink items and ensure temperature.
You will answer questions posed by patrons including basic ingredients in food to help identify any possible allergy issues should a guest ask.
You will pre-bus/bus tables to ensure the table is available for the next guest.
You will communicate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
You will promote current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.
You will perform regular closing tasks, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness and end of shift tasks.
Perform other tasks may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
ABLE Certification
Handle cash responsibly.
Calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
Speak, read, and write English.
Team work skills are required to promote overall success and enjoyment of the guest.
Previous Server or Wait staff Experience
One (1) year of food server experience in a high volume, casual or upscale restaurant.
