The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure) position in Management Information Systems at the Assistant Professor level to develop innovative, cutting-edge instructional and research programs. The assistant professor position requires the candidate to possess a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field, at least one academic year (9 months, full- or part-time) of experience teaching management information systems courses, such as Business Statistics and Systems Analysis and Implementation, and a record of relevant scholarly research such as working papers or presentations. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in Machine Learning, Systems Analysis and Design, and Business Analytics, Current Topics in Management Information Systems, including object-oriented programming, database design, statistics, and data analytics, possibly at times in our coordinated program in China. Assistant professor candidates are further expected to contribute to the research environment, generate scholarly publications, and maintain scholarly academic faculty qualification status under AACSB accreditation standards.
