Job Description
We are hiring immediately! Vitalant is currently seeking Donor Outreach Coordinators to be the front-line heroes to patients by scheduling present and past donors to make their next vital contribution through blood donation to the community.
Our ideal candidate is looking to work in a team environment that offers autonomy and the ability to work productively to meet and exceed goals while multi-tasking, focusing on details and adapting to a changing environment.
As a Donor Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for achieving goals for recruiting current, lapsed, and new donors, and scheduling them to donate at an in-center location or area blood drive. Every day you’ll be having fun making a measurable difference in your community.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

We’re looking for someone who can:
Enhance the donor experience by providing awesome customer service while inspiring donors to realize their life-transforming potential.
Work in a supportive team atmosphere and willing to assist peers to contribute to a positive work environment and goals.
Retain donors by booking quality donation appointments, assisting in resolving customer service issues, and act as the liaison in cultivating a customer service friendly culture.
Revolutionize the donor awe experience by using innovative messaging while ensuring the integrity of the donor’s profile (e.g., demographics, deferral information, codes donor records appropriately, etc.).
Code donor records appropriately based on the information provided by the donor, other parties, and management.
High School Graduate or GED
Basic PC/Windows proficiency
One-year customer service experience preferred
Contact Center experience preferred
