Job Description
The NexGen Training and Development Manager is responsible for developing learning and development strategies for our seven member companies that will position our sales and marketing personnel to be the most knowledgeable and competitive in the industry.
Responsibilities for Training Manager:
· Partner with our vendors to develop, manage, coordinate, and assess regional in-person events that support a continuum of learning.
· Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees.
· Develop and administer assessments for each training course or seminar to determine its effectiveness and implement adjustments based on results.
· Work directly with our primary vendors to develop high level, quality content for digital and in-person training for our employees.
· Perform initial Needs Assessments to Identify existing gaps,
· Organize and execute in-person training seminars which include but not limited to location, meals and accommodations, logistics, scheduling of events, etc.
· Create any needed supplementary printed materials for trainings and events.
· Create and manage an incentive program to increase attendance and engagement from Attendees and Suppliers
· To identify future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.
· Reports to the Executive Director of NexGen.
Qualifications for Training Manager:
· A proven track record for designing and executing effective training programs.
· Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods.
· Experience in analyzing company training needs, development and implementation of plans, and the administering and evaluation of training programs.
· Ability to communicate effectively with the leadership of NexGen and their employees to ensure that all needs are met.
· Conference and event planning experience a plus.
· Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
· Advanced database and computer skills. Working knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Systems) a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
