Project Manager (Part-time)
Location: DMV preferred for possible client/team meetings, but position is remote
BETAH Associates is a professional services firm with an immediate opening for a part-time project manager to support 2 justice related Federal contract programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as the liaison to the COR and CO on matters related to the project budget, client leadership and management meetings, and project staffing. Oversees and manages all financial/budgetary issues related to the project and submits monthly financial reports and related invoices to COR for review. Other tasks include:
? Reviews weekly, monthly, and annual contract reports before submission to the COR;
? Establishes and maintains a quality assurance process for all project-related activities (e.g., report development, claims processing/verification, outreach including Web site content, and related resources);
? In consultation with case managers, identifies and monitors emerging issues that may impact the program and develops recommendations on these issues for consideration by the COR;
? Manages the training/deployment of the project?s surge team upon request by the COR;
? Manages day-to-day activities of the project and oversees the work of the case manager, surge team, and consultants;
? Onsite liaison to the OVC;
? Facilitates weekly program meetings with COR;
? Reviews, edits, and approves project-related correspondence before submission to the COR;
? Drafts technical reports such as reports to Congress, Annual Report, policy memos as necessary, and revisions/updates to ITVERP standardized forms/templates or memos as needed;
? Updates the Policy and the Operations Manual quarterly;
? Attend meetings and conferences, as necessary;
? Monitors and reports on trending policy issues; and
? Provides guidance to the case manager with claims processing.
