Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
As part of the inside sales team, will provide support through the following:
Order entry (e.g. enter quotes and orders, update existing order information when changes occur)
Customer qualification (e.g. update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information)
Credit establishment (e.g. daily financial data entry, including accounts payable and receivable, and assist in managing entering and managing sales orders)
This role will develop over time and eventually will be involved in and/or responsible for:
Initiating or coordinate customer contact with sales team
Answer customer inquiries
Maintain strong business relationships with customers
Ensure excellent customer service
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product knowledge base of Southeast Culvert products
Be familiar with and understand state, county and city specifications
Manage price pages/templates and quotes in conjunction with Sales team (Inside and Outside) and Sales Manager.
Ensure required sales process information is complete and accurate
Act as a liaison between outside sales and the manufacturing facilities, providing timely and accurate information to both.

Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 years of experience with Order Entry, Inside Sales, Customer Service Sales, Office Administration, or comparable experience
High proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel and good experience with inventory database management or other ERP software.)
Active, self-motivated, flexible personality with good communication skills and ability to work independently
Responsive and forward thinking
Team player with willingness to help out cross-functionally as needed
Precise and detail oriented; highly organized
Ability to complete a multitude of tasks related to the operation of a busy national business, meeting tight timelines
