Job Description
Our company works closely with nationally based charities to plan events and help with fundraising efforts locally. Are you looking for somewhere to build customer service skills and work with others? Our Customer Service Representatives are unmatched in their ability to leave a lasting imprint on consumers through their courteous and sympathetic actions. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service will be vital throughout the originations process, where our Customer Service Representative is the customer's primary point of contact.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will communicate with donors directly and give them any information they need about our company and our client's cause to raise funds for their mission. It is also your responsibility to work with team members to know current fundraising techniques. We need someone ready to work in a fast-paced environment and grow their skills and is willing to start immediately.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Through your success in the position, you will help sustain our business expansion and objectives by raising awareness for the charity organization's donation goals
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to follow up with potential contributors on their donation packages
- Answer potential donor's questions and respond to their inquiries through training
- Record consumer feedback with accuracy to improve client satisfaction and increase enrollment
- Cooperate with different associations and teams within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising efforts
- Conduct research into current charity trends and communicate the information back to the Customer Service Managers to improve and increase our donor base
Qualifications and Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:
- A high school diploma is preferred. A GED is not needed but is acceptable
- Some college or a bachelor's degree in Communications is recommended, but not required
- Must have a passion for supporting others
- Someone who is kind, friendly, and approachable, especially working directly with potential donors within our community events
- Ready to work in a team-based environment or independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,100.00 per week
