Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse orders (retail channel) and load scheduling for Bona distribution services. Responsibilities will specifically be focused on order management, generating proper load documentation, and communicating with carriers for load scheduling. As a team lead, this position will also provide support to the Professional, CPG and second shift Order Fulfillment Specialists by monitoring activities to ensure timely and accurate flow of transactional information. This position will work closely with Warehouse Department Heads, Account Services, Transportation as well as prepaid and third-party carriers to achieve division objectives while maintaining a focus on customer service and on-time shipping. The individual will also demonstrate excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills, high accuracy, attention to detail and will contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DUTIES
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Lead Order Entry role, Inside Sales, or Account Management.
3. Highly proficient with Excel and has knowledge of pivot tables, formulas including VLOOKUPs, search functions and conditional formatting.
4. Must have a working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System and warehouse order flow concepts.
5. Must demonstrate a “hands on” problem solving approach.
6. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills, strong analytical skills with attention to details, and be able to influence individuals to achieve results.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Oversee the Order Fulfillment department, provide daily objectives and motivate employee productivity and efficiency.
2. Communicate any department issues with upper management to reach business goals effectively.
3. Review orders received via EDI, identify, and communicate errors to the proper department for timely correction, manually release daily orders and distribute work to warehouse department heads.
4. Review retailer compliance manuals for updates and ensure changes are applied to all orders upon release. Also, communicate any changes to appropriate departments within the warehouse (retail channel).
5. Answer questions regarding order information, shipping issues and non-technical product information.
6. Confirm inventory availability and working with supply chain and Account Services.
7. Investigate errors to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
8. Analyze non-compliance fines and monthly scorecards to identify trends, primarily relating to shipping errors. Work with internal and external teams to implement changes to reduce chargebacks.
9. Create customs paperwork for international shipments.
10. Work with prepaid and third-party carriers on load scheduling, ensuring the Dock Management System is updated for each load.
11. Provide timely responses to all emails received in both the group email accounts and personal email account.
12. Assist with and/or lead process improvement projects within the department.
13. Back-up and support team members during absences and/or heavy volume times.
14. Attend global training initiatives and maintain sufficient Bona product knowledge.
15. Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
16. Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
17. Oversees and contributes to the development and continual improvement of the SHEQ Management System(s).

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
